2023.10.15 第11回無外流国際大会開催
姫路市中央体育館で無外流国際大会が開催され、横浜無外から22名が参加しました。
そのうち12名が海外からの参加でした。
ワシントンD.C.のカートブラウン６段が総合優勝し、宗家杯と姫路市長杯を手にしました。
The 11th Mugairyu International Taikai was held on 15-Oct-2023 at Himeji City Central Gymnasium.
22 persons joined from Yokohama Mugaikai including 12 oversea's members.
Kurt Brown 6th dan won the grand championship and awarded Soke cup and Himeji Mayor's cup. Congratulations!

2023.6.10 京都武徳殿で交流演武会
各流派２０道場から８７名が参加しての交流演武会に参加しました。
We participated at the Goodwilll Demonstration Meeting at Kyoto Butokuden on 2023-June-10. Nearly 90 people from 20 dojo of various school gathered.

武道始め2023
2023年1月8日、横浜無外会の武道始めを行いました。
四方払いで一年の安全を祈願しました。
Budo Hajime, the first training for the new year was held on 8th January 2023 at Isogo Sports Center.
Shiho-barai, a purifying ritual to offer prayers for safety throughout the new year was performed.

内容： 模範演武、競技試合（形、組太刀）
懇親会：11月6日（日）14:00〜17:00
場所：横浜ベイサイドマリーナ
・競技:
1) 形の部： ① 初段以下 ② 二、三段 ③ 四、五段
各自任意の3型を一人ずつ演じる。
2) 組太刀の部：打太刀、仕太刀の二人一組で居合之形「北斗、太白、稲妻」の３型を一組ずつ演じる。
・評価法： A：極めて良い、B：とても良い、C：良い、D：まあまあ、E：不十分／失敗
・表彰 ：最優秀賞、優秀賞、敢闘賞

2022-Nov-6 Mugairyu Yokohama Taikai
The Yokohama taikai was held at Isogo Sports Center on 6th Nov. 2022.
Before the taikai, experimental Japanese tea ceremony was held at Noge Chiku Center on 3rd November 2022.
Pre-taikai training was held at Totsuka Multi-purpose Hall, Yokohama Budokan and Konan Sports Center from 3rd to 5th inclusive.
After the taikai, BBQ party was held at Yokohama Bayside Marina.

2022.9.17 お三の宮日枝神社奉納演武
コロナのため3年ぶりの開催となった秋の例大祭で奉納演武を行いました。
Dedicatory demonstration for the Autumn Reitai-sai Festival of Osan-no-miya Hie-jinja shrine in Yokohama was held on 17th September 2022. It’s been three years since the last time as the pandemic of COVID-19.

2021.10.24 第10回国際大会
南熱海マリンホールにて国際大会が開催されました。
2019年は台風19号の影響で中止、2020年は新型コロナの感染拡大で中止となり、３年振りの開催となりましたが、海外からの参加は注視しました。
横浜無外会は、段外初二段の部で準優勝、三四五段の部で３位、剣術の部で準優勝でした。
The 10th International Taikai was held as a domestic taikai on Oct. 24, 2021 in Atami city.
2021年9月18日（土）
お三の宮日枝神社奉納演武
コロナ緊急事態宣言が9月30日まで延長となりましたので、奉納演武は中止となりました。（2021.9.9)
昨年はコロナのため中止となった日枝神社例大祭での奉納演武ですが、例大祭は規模を縮小して行われます。例年、境内に屋台が立ち並ぶのですが、今年は屋台はなく、また神楽殿も使用できません。神楽殿が使用できないため、境内での演武となります。雨天の場合は、本殿での演武となりますが、その場合は試斬演武は行いません。
日時：令和３年９月１８日（土）午後３時〜４時（予定）
場所：お三の宮日枝神社・境内
横浜市南区山王町５の３２
（地下鉄吉野町駅から徒歩３分）
演武内容：通常稽古の範囲
（どなたでも参加できます）
集合：午後２時現地集合
参加料：無料
お知らせ：無外流国際大会2021は開催する方向で準備を進めます（2021.6.20)
今年の無外流国際大会は、令和3年10月24日熱海市にて、国内大会として開催する方向で準備を進めます。感染予防対策を徹底した上で行います。
新型コロナ感染拡大の状況によっては、中止となる場合があります。
尚、開催したとしても、世界的な新型コロナの感染拡大に鑑みて、海外からの参加はできません。
As for Mugairyu International Taikai on 24th October 2021 in Atami city, we will proceed the preparation as a domestic Taikai, depending on the situation of COVID-19 infection.
In consideration of current pandemic situation, participation from overseas is banned. (Updated 2021.6.20)

お知らせ：2020大会中止
今年の2020国際大会は正式に完全中止となりました。
規模を縮小しての国内大会も行いません。
参加予定の方は残念ですが、次回以降に備えて変わらぬ稽古を続けましょう。

２０２０年１０月１８日に予定されていた無外流国際大会は新型コロナウイルス 感染の世界的拡大のため行いません。
ただし、国内会員向けに規模を縮小した国内大会として行うことを検討中です（2020.7.20更新）
Notice：The Mugairyu International Taikai
The Mugairyu International Taikai, that was to be held on 18th October 2020 in Atami city, will not be held due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
There might be a possibility to open a small event on the day at the same venue for domestic members. But sorry not for overseas members.
We look forward to meeting everyone on the next year.

お三の宮日枝神社奉納演武中止のお知らせ
例年９月中旬に予定されている日枝神社例大祭ですが、
今年は新型コロナウイルス感染防止のため内々の式典のみとなり、
神輿御巡行や露店はじめ境内でのすべての行事は、中止となりました。
従って、今年の居合道奉納演武はありませんので、お知らせします。

Notice: Cancellation of the dedicatory demonstration for the Osan-no-miya Hie-jinja shrine
The Iaido demonstration for dedication to the Osan-no-miya Hie-jinja shrine, that was to be held on 19th October 2020 at the Autumn Festival, has been cancelled in order to prevent spreading of the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus-infected Pneumonia. (Updated 2020.7.19)

We are very proud of it. Congratulations!

京都平安神宮の一画にある旧武徳殿において日本居合術連盟創立２５周年記念大会が開かれ、無外流の演武を行いました。
I demonstrated the Mugairyu at the 25th anniversary memorial taikai of Nippon Iaijutsu Federation at the Kyoto Butokuden Hall, national important cultural property, in the precincts of Heian-jingu Shrine.

2019年春季 級・段位審査会が磯子スポーツセンターで行われました。
級位４名、初段３名、二段４名が合格しました。おめでとうございます。

横浜開拓の守護神社であるお三の宮日枝神社の例大祭が今年2018年は９月１５、１６日に行われます。その例大祭で横浜無外会が居合道奉納演武を行なうことになりました。
横浜無外会としては初の対外活動であり、初の奉納演武となります。
下記要領で行いますので、奮ってご参加下さい。

Notice ~ The 7th Mugairyu International Taikai 2018
will be held on Sunday 21st October 2018 at Minami-atami Marin Hall in Atami city. Workshop lead by Soke is held from 13:00 to 16:00 on Saturday 20th October 2018 at the same venue. Details to follow.
2018.8.13 試斬審査について
横浜無外会では昇段審査に試斬を取り入れています。その試斬内容を見直しました。
居合刀法の本義は敵を裁断することにあるのではなく、対敵動作（動きがある）の中での斬り下ろしに意義があります。このため居合の袈裟斬の角度は敵の「重心を崩す」に適した角度（道場での口伝）になります。敵を制圧して自らが斬られないためです。仮に裁断できなくても相手を崩して倒すことができれば武術としての目的を達することができます。
一方、現在行なっている畳表を巻いた仮標を裁断する試斬は動きのない据え物です。このため「裁断に適した角度（４０度前後）」で斬ります。手の内を締めて刀の軌道と刃の向きを合わせて正しい角度で斬らなければいけません。このように居合刀法と試斬刀法には違いがあります。
そこで横浜無外会では初段から３段まではこれまで通り、手の内、刃筋を確認するための据え物斬りとし、４段以上は動きのある吊り下げた紙片を斬ることにしました。４段は諸手斬り、５段は片手抜き打ちで行います。切紙の斬り方は力ではなくスピードと斬り手の返しがポイントなので、力みを抜くことが肝要で、居合刀法の理に適っています。

第11代宗家中川士龍先生３７回忌の墓参供養が、京都妙心寺にて行われ、小西宗家はじめ幹部の先生方が参列しました。
The 37th memorial service for the 11th Soke Nakagawa Shiryu sensei at Myoshoji temple inn Kyoto.

上大岡で免許皆伝允可の祝賀会が行われました。
A feast to celebrate Menkyo-kaiden for Nomura sensei was held in Kamiooka.
2017年3月30日免許皆伝授与式
野村教士８段は、小西宗家より免許皆伝を許され、平成29年3月30日姫路市・播磨国総社で授与式が行われました。武蔵国無外会の須藤会長が立会人を務めました。
In March 2017, Nomura Kyoshi 8-dan was conferred ‘Menkyo-kaiden’ (full mastership) of Mugairyu Iai Hyodo from the 16th Soke Konishi Misakazu Ryuoh Sensei. The ceremony of awarding was held on 30th march 2017 at Harimanokuni Sosha in Himeji city. He shall approach a new chapter in my swordsmanship and appreciate all of your support and guidance.

本日は横浜無外会の稽古納めでした。稽古納めは二十型を通し稽古して、締めは今年一年間の成果を段位別に演武して頂きました。皆様、本年は誠にお世話になりました。来年がより良い年になりますよう心から祈念申し上げます。

試斬会のお知らせ
平成２８年９月１１日（日）磯子スポーツセンターが取れましたので、試斬会を計画します。（８月４日アップ）

胸マークが変更になります。所属団体と名前となり、袖に段位別で色分けされた士龍会ロゴマークをつける事になりました。
Current breast logo mark is no longer required.
Instead, new chest mark and logo mark on sleeve are decided as follows.
Chest mark is to show branch/country and name. Logo mark is to wear on sleeve showing Shiryukai logo and dan grade by colour.

! 武蔵国無外会誕生
江戸無外会は平成２８年４月１日をもって
武蔵国無外会（むさしのくにむがいかい）
と名称を変更しました。
そして新たに常設道場を新宿区上落合に開設して本部道場として活動開始しました。これまでの九段道場は使用しません。
神奈川支部は、武蔵国無外会横浜地区本部・横浜無外会となりました。内容に変更はありません。

Name changed!!
Edo Mugaikai has changed its name as "Musashi-no-kuni Mugaikai" as of 1st April 2016.
A new dojo has been open in Ochiai, Shinjuku-ku.
Kudan dojo is no longer available.
Yokohama region has no change its organization except its name changed as "Musashi-no-kuni Mugaikai Yokohama Regional Headquarters" or "Yokohama Mugaikai".
